The GetData sandbox environment is available for testing during development. The sandbox feature allows you to build integrations without fetching live data and incurring charges for reports.
To use the sandbox environment, a dedicated Sandbox API service must be configured in Creditsafe's backend. All parameters and responses in the sandbox version of GetData mirror those of the live service.
Authorization works exactly the same as in the live environment using CONNECT Authenticate. Any charges incurred in the sandbox are applied to the Sandbox API service alone, with no charges made to the GetData service.

https://se-webservice-sandbox.apps.creditsafe.com/getdata/healthDevelopers are encouraged to structure requests in sandbox exactly as they will be sent in production. This keeps implementation behaviour consistent and simplifies deployment.
Use production-like request payloads and query parameters during testing, even when some values are synthetic.
To access the sandbox environment:
- You will need a signed agreement with Creditsafe
- Our sales team will facilitate this agreement
- The integration team will provide the necessary credentials to get started
The Creditsafe integration team (integration@creditsafe.se) is available to assist you during the development phase with the sandbox API. They can provide:
- Information on which search numbers to use
- Additional test data if needed
- Guidance on sandbox implementation
- Support for troubleshooting issues
At some point, you will need to transition the development environment to use the live services and verify that everything works as expected.
When making this switch, be cautious to avoid unintentionally generating credit reports through services like GetData or CAS, as this could trigger the sending of letters of disclosure.
When transitioning to production:
- Update your base URL from sandbox to production endpoints
- Use your production credentials (obtained from CONNECT Authenticate)
- Update any hardcoded sandbox URLs in your codebase
- Test the authentication flow with production credentials in a controlled manner
While the sandbox environment mirrors the structure and format of responses from the live API, the data itself is synthetic and may not be logically consistent or realistic. This environment is intended solely for integration testing and development purposes.
